Jérémie GUERDAT
BIO
I was born in 1986 in Delémont (CH), and I’ve been working in artistic domains since 2009.
After spending 2 years at the contemporary art school in Saxon, I co-founded ScreenVision Sàrl.
With this company, I engaged in graphic design and filmmaking for private clients and institutions.
A few years ago, I separated from the company and worked as a production assistant.
Since 2018, I have a part-time job as a photographer/graphic designer and office trainer. I also work as a freelance artist for a wide variety of clients, utilizing both traditional and digital media.
I am married and have a daughter who brings me both joy and challenges. I enjoy spending time with my family in nature or around our garden.
I’m a big science-fiction fan and am particularly interested in astronomy and fiction in general. I play video games and love NesTetris. Additionally, I am an amateur bladesmith and enjoy creating items in metal, wood, and leather—a passion I like to share during the workshops I lead.
In summary, there aren’t enough hours in the day to do everything I wish.
Why do I draw ?
I think I draw primarily because I love the feeling of putting lines on paper and attempting to express something. Beyond creating visually pleasing images, I always strive to convey an idea or emotion within the picture. I also seize every opportunity to enhance my skills as a visual artist, exploring various mediums such as pencil, gouache, watercolor, ink, digital painting, photobashing, and I have recently felt the need to learn oil painting—a story to be continued.
I hope you get to know me a little better through these few lines, and I would be happy to chat on social media for any reason!
Have a nice day.
